Keith Carreiro hails from Swansea, Massachusetts. He is a poet and former solo concert classical guitarist who toured throughout North and South America in the 1970s. He maintains an ongoing and active research agenda into the nature of inquiry, creativity and critical thinking. He believes that artistic understanding and aesthetic awareness are at the heart of creative expression in the literary, visual and performing arts. Carreiro has used this knowledge as a means of helping educational practitioners deepen their levels of professional development in their respective fields of expertise.
He integrates an enduring passion for this work into his daily teaching and practice as an adjunct faculty member at Bristol Community College and Bridgewater State University. He has recently completed three novellas chronicling a medieval quest for human immortality that is set in the 26th century.
